Goals:
- Assist the Barkly Street Cricket Club to boost junior participation numbers and renew its connections with local community groups
- Build resilience and social inclusion among participants
- Offer practical opportunities for Belonging, Mastery, Independence, Generosity through cricket and social events.
- Sign up 25 new junior participants from September 2011- March 2012
- Run at least two teams Under 11;s and 13′s
- Run 2 In2Cricket Programs at the Maribyrnong Reserve and with Footscray North Primary School.
- Explore the viability of a junior girls team.
Target Group:
Young people and families in the Footscray, Maribyrnong and Inner West region.
Culturally and linguistically diverse students and newly arrived migrants living in the inner Western suburbs in relationship with:
